Accomplishments

During High School:

• CIF-SS Player of the Year (1971)
• Led Amat to the Major Division title in 1971
• Ended career ranked among all-time school leaders in total offense, career passing and rushing

During college:

• All-American QB at UCLA
• Ran for the most career yards by a QB in UCLA history
• 1976 Rose Bowl Game MVP defeating then-#1 Ohio State
• Was also drafted in the 3rd Round by Cleveland Indians (MLB)

Post-college:

• College Football Hall of Fame
• Rose Bowl Hall of Fame
• UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame
• CFL Rookie of the Year Award (1976)
• Played in NFL and Super Bowl XV with Eagles
