• State DB of Year for 85 Poly team that was co-CIFSS champions
• One of best defensive units in school history (and one of best ever seen)
• Three-year standout

During college:

• USC for college
• Won Jim Thorpe Award in 1989 (junior year)

Post-college:

• 1st round NFL draft pick (Bears)
• 1990 NFL Def Rookie of Year
• 11 yrs pro
• Three All-Pro seasons
