During High School:

  • All State 1st Team Multi-Purpose
  • Also played QB-WR
  • 5 ints as DB
  • Considered one of top DB recruits in nation
  • Teams went 38-10 and reached CIF North Coast Section finals twice (lost to De La Salle)
  • Probably best NCS player not from DLS during its win streak
  • First inductee into school's athletics Hall of Fame in 2008

During college:

  • Oklahoma for college
  • Started on national title team in 2000
  • Jim Thorpe Award 2002

Post-college:

  • 8th pick in NFL Draft (Cowboys)
  • 9 yr pro career
  • 5 times Pro Bowl
